I chose the motif fire. This is because fire is mentioned many times in the book in a symbolic way. When there is something Bradbury wants to describe, he often uses fire in the description. Montag, the main character, is symbolized and associated continually with fire. He even has fire in his eyes, and since he is the protagonist, I think fire is an extremely important motif in the book.
